POLITIQUE DE CONFIDENTIALITÉ

  1. BOOKINGS & CONFIRMATION
     

    • All bookings are subject to availability.

    • A booking is only confirmed once written acceptance has been provided by ME•N•U and, where applicable, a deposit has been received.
       

  2. PAYMENT TERMS
     

    • Event Catering: A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is payable no later than 7 days prior to the event date.

    • Private Chef Services: Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due in full upon completion of services.

    • Payments must be made by bank transfer or other approved methods specified in your invoice.

3. CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
 

  • Client cancellations must be made in writing.

    • More than 30 days before the event: Deposit retained, but no further payment required.

    • 14–30 days before the event: 75% of the total fee payable.

    • Less than 14 days before the event: 100% of the total fee payable.

    • ME•N•U cancellations: In the rare event that ME•N•U must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, all payments received will be refunded in full.

4. SERVICES & OVERTIME

  • ​A full-day private chef service includes preparation of two meals per day (lunch and dinner, unless otherwise agreed).

  • Additional meals, extended hours, or last-minute changes may incur overtime charges, which will be agreed prior to service where possible.

  • Staffing is arranged according to guest numbers:

    • Up to 8 guests: 1 private chef

    • 8–12 guests: Private chef + sous chef

    • 12+ guests: Private chef + sous chef + waiter/butler

  • Ingredient sourcing, shopping, and kitchen clean-up are included in all full-service bookings.

5. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES & COLLABORATIONS​​

  • At the client’s request, ME•N•U may coordinate additional event services, including but not limited to DJs, florists, décor, rentals, and equipment hire.

  • Where such services are arranged by ME•N•U, all associated costs will be included in the client’s invoice.

  • ME•N•U may apply a coordination and service fee for the management of third-party providers. This fee is included within the total event quotation.

  • ME•N•U is not liable for the performance of third-party providers but will oversee and coordinate services to ensure a seamless client experience.

6. DIETARY REQUIREMENTS & ALLERGIES
 

  • Clients must inform ME•N•U of any dietary requirements, allergies, or intolerances prior to service.

  • While every effort will be made to accommodate, ME•N•U cannot be held liable for issues arising from undisclosed allergies or dietary needs.
     

7. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
 

  • For private chef services, villa or chalet management is responsible for ensuring that kitchen facilities are safe, functional, and compliant with local health and safety standards.

  • For events, ME•N•U assumes responsibility for the setup and management of catering operations.

  • Clients remain responsible for any damages to property or equipment caused by their guests or household staff.

8. LIABILITY & FORCE MAJEURE
 

  • ME•N•U’s responsibility is limited exclusively to the preparation and service of food and beverages as agreed in the booking.

  • ME•N•U is not responsible for the conduct, safety, or actions of guests, nor for villa/chalet management, household staff, or third-party providers engaged separately by the client.

  • ME•N•U carries professional liability insurance; however, our liability is limited to the total value of the services provided.

  • ME•N•U shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, illness, strikes, supply shortages, or government restrictions.
     

9. GOVERNING LAW
 

  • These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France. Any disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts.
